We are excited to share some wonderful news about the continued growth of the Mudpies and Lullabies family! We have recently signed a lease on, and are in the process of renovating and licensing the building currently known as The Astor Academy in downtown Chelsea as a second Mudpies and Lullabies location. This marks an exciting new chapter for our organization and reflects the growth we've experienced over the years, as well as our continued commitment to providing exceptional early childhood education and care. The Astor Academy will continue operating under its current name and license while we work through a series of planned facility improvements and complete the necessary licensing approvals with the State of Michigan. Once those improvements and approvals are in place, The Astor Academy will officially become Mudpies and Lullabies–Van Buren, expanding the Mudpies and Lullabies experience to even more children and families. As we celebrate this exciting opportunity, we also want to reassure you of something very important: your experience at Mudpies and Lullabies will remain the same. The teachers, administrators, routines, and nurturing environment that you know and trust are not changing. Our commitment to your children and your family continues to be our highest priority. Our incredible Mudpies and Lullabies team will remain intact, and we'll continue to provide the same high-quality programs, personalized attention, and family-centered approach you've come to expect. While members of our leadership team will also be supporting The Astor Academy over the upcoming months, this collaboration will strengthen our organization by allowing us to share expertise, resources, and best practices across both locations. You may occasionally hear us reference The Astor or see members of our leadership team spending time at the Van Buren location as we prepare for its future as a Mudpies and Lullabies center. Throughout this process, your child's classroom experience, daily routine, and the relationships you've built with our staff will remain unchanged. We are incredibly proud of what we've built together over the past eight years, and we're excited to thoughtfully grow our mission of providing nurturing, play-based, high-quality early childhood education.
